Day 54: Memorial Day - Day 2 of No Air conditioning

Yeah it was that hot! It was all we could do to stay cool on May 30. We headed to the parade in Florence and eventually we decided it was best to stay at Paw-paw and Bee's house.

Day 53: Just a Hot Sunday at home

We had to take a break outside with a popsicle - the air conditioning is out again!

Day 47: One Year Checkup

Monday May 23 - Piper started Little Red today and HATED it! It didn't help that she had another ear infection - we learned this at her one year check up. She has grown so much!!!

Day 46: Isabell's First Communion

Day 45: Happy 1st Birthday Piper!

We gave Piper the Cozy Coupe as her gift - the girls had to try it out together while Daddy was assembling it. Piper had a wonderful 1st birthday!

Day 36: May 12 - PLAY BALL!!

I scored some free tickets to a Freedom game! Meme, Pop-pop, the girls and I had a great time!

Day 29: Thursday May 5

New dolls: I found these dolls on Redenvelope.com I was looking for a gift for someone and came upon these. When Elizabeth and I were little we had dolls that had our names on them - I sitll have mine.

DAY 28: May 4th

Day 27:

May 3: Someday i am going to figure out how to rotate the pictures. But here are the girls checking out Piper's backpack and lunchbox for when she starts school. She was so excited!!!

Day 25:A Sunny Day At Last

This is the pool on the deck - it has filled up this much this week from all the rain - it wasn't cold. This was of course seconds before Piper fell completely in.

Sitting on the front sidewalk watching daddy cut the grass, played chalk, took our babies for a stroll and rode our bikes.  Piper has discovered dandelions.

Piper's first Ice Cream cone!!! This is the trial run for the cones for her birthday party.

I think she likes it!

After a long month of rain, we finally were able to get out to play. The girls enjoyed at least two hours in the sun, playing on the swing set, and in the yard. We managed to get things cleaned up a little.

Day 24: Oreo's are yummy!

Friday April 28th: We carpooled with daddy home so we were really hungry in the car. After opening a pack of mini oreos this is what happend to Piper. Ailey loved wearing my hat.

Day 23: Rainbows and White Castles

Wednesday April 27th: It was a rainy day but we were blessed with a double rainbow! Piper had her first White Castle - though she likes chicken donuts better!

Day 22: Lala's Birthday!

Tuesday April 26: We took Lala flowers and a balloon but the balloon flew out of the car!

Day 21: More Playing in the Kitchen

April 25th:  Ailey loves to play with this baby, I got her from mom to use at breasfeeding classes when I was pregnant with her. She had a little outfit on with the letter "E" on it - ironically I called her Ella, and there is my Ella climbing on the box of photos.

Day 19: Daddy's Good Egg and Mom's Cute Chick

April 24: Easter Sunday - started off wet and ended wet. We all went to Church as a family -this was the first time. The girls looked beautiful in their matching dresses. We shared the day with Meme and Pop-pop and all of Daddy's side of the family.

Day 18: Apples

April 23: Saturday afternoon - it's raining still. After a morning spent at Lala's coloring Easter Eggs we headed home. We had to take cover in the bathroom because there was a tornado warning. When we finally were able to come out, it was time for a snack. The girls looked so sweet laying here on the floor eating their apples - the joy of being a mother is catching unposed sweetness like this.

Day 17: Easter Bunny!!!!

April 22: Happy Bunny day... one of the best pictures of my girls and myself. Piper's first experience with the Easter Bunny - Ailey is not thrilled - she wasn't fond of Santa either - apples don't fall far from the tree now do they.

Day 16: Coloring

April 21: It's Thurday. Piper spent her last day with Meme and Pop-pop - Meme starts her new job next week! Ailey is recovered from strep and they are coloring together at Pop-pop's feet.

Day 15: Up to no good!

April 20: Note the puddle that has formed on the floor. Yes Piper started it, she showed Ailey how to let the water run and run it did! After telling them no several times I had to unplug it. Ailey sure does look sick doesn't she? Ultimate faker!

Day 14: Recovery Race

April 19: Today Ailey was still not feeling well and she had her first case of strep - we opted for the shot. She wasn't happy about that but was beginning to feel better a few hours after. Here she and Piper are riding their "bikes" in the kitchen.

Day 13: Patiently Waiting

 April 18: The girls are waiting so pariently for Daddy to finish cutting the grass! It has been days since we could go outside!

Right out of Disney - Princess Ailey - her new nighty that Jill brought her.

Day 12: We've been B-bopped!

April 18: We went to see Paw-paw and Bee. Bee b-bopped us already for Easter!

 We were able to play in the yard and cousins Taylor, Brynn and Eddie came over as well!

Day 11: Nerd Herd Wanna Be's

April 16: It's inevitable - they too will be gamers like daddy (ok and like mommy too!)

Day 10: Cousins in a tub!

April 15: Today Isabell and Sam joined us for a sleepover. After dinner and some playing we needed a bath. Piper had already had one but she was determined to have fun with the older three - she leaned far enough over the edge of the tub that she fell in - so all four of "my" kiddos in my little tub!!!

Wednesday April 13: Today it was finally nice enough to get outside! The grass was wet and swampy but fun! We tossed softball and played until we were muddy enough for a bath! 

Day 8: Grapes are good! Part II

Hippity, hoppity, Easter or Christmas is on it's way - mixed holiday apparel!

 The rest of April 12 - we went to Target and had to try on the headbands for spring. Then before bed we had to share not one, but two bowls of grapes!!!!
