Day 19: Daddy's Good Egg and Mom's Cute Chick

April 24: Easter Sunday - started off wet and ended wet. We all went to Church as a family -this was the first time. The girls looked beautiful in their matching dresses. We shared the day with Meme and Pop-pop and all of Daddy's side of the family.

Day 18: Apples

April 23: Saturday afternoon - it's raining still. After a morning spent at Lala's coloring Easter Eggs we headed home. We had to take cover in the bathroom because there was a tornado warning. When we finally were able to come out, it was time for a snack. The girls looked so sweet laying here on the floor eating their apples - the joy of being a mother is catching unposed sweetness like this.

Day 17: Easter Bunny!!!!

April 22: Happy Bunny day... one of the best pictures of my girls and myself. Piper's first experience with the Easter Bunny - Ailey is not thrilled - she wasn't fond of Santa either - apples don't fall far from the tree now do they.

Day 16: Coloring

April 21: It's Thurday. Piper spent her last day with Meme and Pop-pop - Meme starts her new job next week! Ailey is recovered from strep and they are coloring together at Pop-pop's feet.

Day 15: Up to no good!

April 20: Note the puddle that has formed on the floor. Yes Piper started it, she showed Ailey how to let the water run and run it did! After telling them no several times I had to unplug it. Ailey sure does look sick doesn't she? Ultimate faker!

Day 14: Recovery Race

April 19: Today Ailey was still not feeling well and she had her first case of strep - we opted for the shot. She wasn't happy about that but was beginning to feel better a few hours after. Here she and Piper are riding their "bikes" in the kitchen.

Day 13: Patiently Waiting

 April 18: The girls are waiting so pariently for Daddy to finish cutting the grass! It has been days since we could go outside!

Day 12: We've been B-bopped!

April 18: We went to see Paw-paw and Bee. Bee b-bopped us already for Easter!

 We were able to play in the yard and cousins Taylor, Brynn and Eddie came over as well!

Day 11: Nerd Herd Wanna Be's

April 16: It's inevitable - they too will be gamers like daddy (ok and like mommy too!)

Day 10: Cousins in a tub!

April 15: Today Isabell and Sam joined us for a sleepover. After dinner and some playing we needed a bath. Piper had already had one but she was determined to have fun with the older three - she leaned far enough over the edge of the tub that she fell in - so all four of "my" kiddos in my little tub!!!

Wednesday April 13: Today it was finally nice enough to get outside! The grass was wet and swampy but fun! We tossed softball and played until we were muddy enough for a bath! 

Day 8: Grapes are good! Part II

 The rest of April 12 - we went to Target and had to try on the headbands for spring. Then before bed we had to share not one, but two bowls of grapes!!!!

Day 7: Going home, lemon buttercream and headstands

What a icky day! It rained and rained and rained! I felt so bad for Ailey beacuse she wanted to go out and "Turn her wheel" but the yard of course is a swamp. They settled for a sample of my newest frosting flavor - Lemon Butter Cream. Grandpa Ron came for Taco dinner and Piper decided to display how she does a headstand! Silly girl!

Saturday - we went to Sophia's first birthday today. The girls had a great time playing with balloons. Piper finally showed daddy that she can infact walk on her own! 

Day 4: April 8 - Birdy Nest

Friday April 8: Meme and Piper had a wonderful day. When it was time for me to pick her up Ailey was ready to play. She brought with her the birdy nest she made at school - it didn't take long for them to share the "birdy" (peep).

This morning, after sleeping all night :) both girls woke up happy. I thought about waiting until later in the day to take a picture but then I rethought - their clothing would be a mess! I love that Piper is giving me her full attention and Ailey is giving her's to the baggie of Cheez-its.

Day 2: Morning Moochie

This morning Ailey was up with her Happy Face on - we heard Piper and she excalimed "Mommy, Piper wake!!" So I told her, "Go check on her and say good morning, Piper!" So she ran down the hall and stepped up on the foot stool to turn on the light, "Good Morning Piper! Hi, Piper! Hi!" I got in the room just in time to see a Morning Moochie.

The 365 Adventure Day 1: Muffin

Inspired by my fellow May Monster Mommies I am creating a blog to chronicle the next full year of the lives of my Miracle - Ailey and my Surprise - Piper. I had started with the thought of doing one for each but I thought it would be a more special and cohesive look if I did both of them. They both already have yearly digital scrapbooks.

So day one - today 4/5/2011 - Ailey is 2 years 3months and Piper is 10 months 2 weeks.
